Books, study materials, and selected add-ons do not create an automatic subscription. Digital purchases are final and non-refundable after delivery, subject to the Refund Policy and non-waivable rights.

Overview
Welcome to Nursing Nerds. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Nursing Nerds. Nursing Nerds operates this website, store, and related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service, together with the policies referenced here, describe the rights and responsibilities that apply when a customer visits, uses, or purchases through the Services.
By accessing or using the Services or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Digital Delivery Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services or complete a transaction.
Eligibility and Account Responsibility
You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have valid permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must provide current, accurate, and complete information.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, email account, devices, browser sessions, and payment methods. You are responsible for activity completed through resources you knowingly permit another person to use.
Products and Product Descriptions
Nursing Nerds provides digital educational materials, including books, nursing notes, study guides, practice resources, add-ons, upgrades, and related content. We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately, but display colors, layout, pagination, formatting, and appearance may vary by device, browser, software, printer, paper, and settings.
We may revise, improve, replace, or discontinue products and may limit availability to any person, region, or jurisdiction.
Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when payment is approved and Nursing Nerds confirms or provides the purchased access. We may reject or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing or technical errors, product unavailability, policy violations, or other legitimate reasons.
Customers must review all products, add-ons, prices, fees, and totals before submitting an order. Selecting a clearly labeled purchase or upgrade button constitutes affirmative authorization for the displayed transaction.
Prices, Fees, and Billing
Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price governing a transaction is the price displayed and accepted when the order is placed. Taxes and an applicable Digital Processing Fee may be added where displayed before payment.
You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and agree to pay the displayed total. A processing fee associated with a digital order is a one-time charge, not a subscription.
Optional Add-Ons
Specialty study materials and other add-ons may be offered separately. Each selected add-on is a separate one-time digital purchase at the price displayed before acceptance and is not automatically included with the primary product.
Optional $59.99 Digital Upgrade
Certain offers include an optional one-time digital upgrade priced at $59.99 USD. The upgrade provides additional or enhanced materials beyond the original purchase and is charged separately.
Customers may decline the upgrade and retain their original purchase. Selecting a clearly labeled button identifying the upgrade and its $59.99 price affirmatively authorizes the additional purchase.
The $59.99 upgrade is not a subscription or recurring charge. It is final sale after digital delivery under the Refund Policy.
No Automatic Subscription
Purchasing a book, add-on, or upgrade does not create a subscription. Nursing Nerds will not impose recurring charges unless a separate offer expressly identifies a subscription and discloses its price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method before the customer affirmatively enrolls.
Digital Delivery
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products are delivered digitally and no physical item is shipped. Access may be provided by email, confirmation page, download link, customer account, or another disclosed digital method.
Customers are responsible for accurate contact information, compatible equipment and software, and personal backup copies of downloadable files. Additional delivery terms appear in the Digital Delivery Policy.
Final Sale and Refunds
Digital purchases are final and non-refundable after delivery, access, download, unlocking, or availability, except for the limited remedies in the Refund Policy or rights that cannot legally be waived.
Mistaken selection, failure to read an offer, change of mind, nonuse, dissatisfaction with presentation, repeat purchase, or failure to achieve a desired educational result does not create voluntary refund eligibility.
Educational Purpose Only
Nursing Nerds materials are general educational and study resources. They are not accredited coursework, official examination materials, medical advice, nursing advice, clinical supervision, diagnosis, treatment, a substitute for textbooks or course requirements, or a substitute for the judgment of qualified instructors and licensed healthcare professionals.
Customers must follow their school, employer, licensing board, clinical site, professional standards, current authoritative references, and applicable laws and regulations. Never use Nursing Nerds materials as the sole basis for patient-care decisions.
No Exam, Academic, Licensing, or Employment Guarantee
Nursing Nerds does not guarantee admission, grades, course completion, examination eligibility, examination passage, licensure, certification, clinical performance, employment, promotion, or any particular educational or professional result.
Examination plans, clinical guidance, drug information, laboratory ranges, procedures, standards, and regulations can change. Customers are responsible for checking current official and institution-specific sources.
No Affiliation or Endorsement
Unless expressly stated, Nursing Nerds is an independent educational business and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by any nursing school, testing organization, licensing board, government agency, healthcare employer, or professional association.
Third-party names and marks are used only to identify the relevant educational subject, examination, organization, product, or service and remain the property of their respective owners.
Personal-Use License
Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, Nursing Nerds grants the purchaser a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use purchased materials for the purchaser’s own individual, non-commercial study.
No ownership or intellectual-property rights are transferred. Unless written permission expressly states otherwise, customers may not share account access or files; reproduce, upload, publish, distribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit materials; remove notices; create competing products; or use content to train a commercial artificial-intelligence system.
Intellectual Property
The Services and Nursing Nerds materials—including text, illustrations, diagrams, layouts, graphics, downloads, product names, branding, and selection and arrangement—are owned by Nursing Nerds or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws.
Unauthorized copying or distribution may result in termination of access and enforcement of available rights and remedies.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware; interfere with security; scrape or harvest information without permission; impersonate another person; submit false payment disputes; engage in fraud; share patient-identifying information; or exploit the Services or materials beyond the license granted.
Patient and Sensitive Information
Do not submit protected health information, patient names, medical-record numbers, clinical images, or other patient-identifying information to Nursing Nerds. The Services are not designed as a clinical record system and are not offered as a HIPAA-compliant patient-data service.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or use third-party platforms, payment providers, applications, and websites. Nursing Nerds is not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy, security, or practices. Use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
Relationship with Shopify
Shopify provides the commerce platform that enables the Services. Purchases are made directly from Nursing Nerds, not Shopify. To the extent permitted by law, Shopify is not responsible for Nursing Nerds products, transactions, representations, or customer support.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” Nursing Nerds disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content will be error-free, complete, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for every curriculum, institution, jurisdiction, or clinical setting.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nursing Nerds and its owners, affiliates, service providers, licensors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, grades, opportunities, or goodwill; examination or licensing outcomes; or decisions based on educational content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability arising from a product or transaction will not exceed the amount actually paid to Nursing Nerds for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Nursing Nerds and its owners, affiliates, service providers, and representatives harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, unauthorized distribution, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abusive disputes, unauthorized sharing or distribution, security threats, or material violation of these Terms. Termination for misuse does not create refund eligibility.
Severability and Waiver
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, the policies incorporated by reference, product descriptions, checkout disclosures, and order summary form the entire agreement concerning the Services and purchases. Informal communications do not modify this agreement unless an authorized Nursing Nerds representative expressly agrees in writing.
Changes
We may update these Terms for operational, legal, security, or regulatory reasons. The version displayed when a purchase is completed will generally govern that purchase.
